Throughout 2021 I was ScratchThat’s website-fixer-in-chief and what started as a role that saw me cleaning up page layouts and button styles, quickly turned into my upskilling and learning the ins and outs of website coding.

I am definitely far from an expert, but it was enough to start writing some code of my own, knowing exactly what I was doing, and knowing what exactly I could do.

Then one afternoon, walking along the Brisbane River and damning a rejection letter I’d received for a script I believed in, I decided to do something courageous. I made a button, inside of it I put everything I knew of coding.
